You should be happy to research and learn/understand new things, to the point of becoming an authority on the subject if needed.
Willingness to comment on blogs, create accounts and post in related forums, learn to use new software if needed, request link exchanges with other site owners, possibly create accounts/post on social networking sites, whatever else is needed.
