Our company is in the business of Online Marketing: SEO, PPC, etc. The person that you will be supporting is in the entertainment (music) business and manages a number of well-known Jazz and R&B musicians.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who knows aspects of the online marketing business, as well as loves music.
The ideal person SHOULD have the following:
1) Ability to speak American English very well
2) Own a "newer" computer - for example: XP or Vista - 2G RAM, etc.
3) Internet connection
4) Solid understanding of the Internet, researching capabilities, online shared applications, especially Google Apps, Yahoo IM and Skype
5) Strong use of Word and Excel or open source versions of these applications
6) Background with link building, content creation or other Internet related marketing activities very desirable.
7) The home work environment must ideally be free from "distractions" and "background noise".
